About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Do not go where the path may lead. Instead go where there is no path and leave a trail"

ABOUT ME

Currently, I am pursuing academic ventures - working on a degree in Human Development and Nonprofit studies at ASU. I intern with a nonprofit that helps resettle refugees. I enjoy cooking, eating Persian, Ethiopian, Vietnamese and Thai food. I am first generation American, my mum is from Australia and my Dad is from Germany. I have had the privilege of visiting both my parent's hometowns and I feel that is what kick-started my craving for travel. I have a very large, loud and close family. I am the eldest of six rambunctious kids. I love authentic and engaging conversations, volunteering, running around with kids, being outdoors and being in monsoons. I am happy to help out while I surf (do dishes etc.) I currently also usher at a local theater, enjoy long bike rides and desert rain.

PHILOSOPHY

The Golden Rule

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed in the past and try utilizing couch surfing when I travel as I love meeting new people along the way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is the first time I have had a profile officially on CS but a few years ago my family hosted a wonderful group of cross country cyclists via CS. We had such a resoundingly positive experience I knew I'd have to join Couch Surfing in the future. A few friends of mine host regularly and I know through them how wonderful CS can be! I have shared my couch many many times with friends old and new.
