About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Into thin air...

ABOUT ME

Well, I've travelled a bit so my apartment (and my jewlery collection) is all quite eclectic. I have a Peruvian flute on one wall, mini Egyptian pyramids on another and a South African mask on another. When I'm not travelling, I'm planning another trip or dreaming about one.
I spend a lot of time reading and biking, and drinking tea. I have become a tea nut these past few year. I like watching movies and I like to go outside as much as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Anybody can become friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Great Big Sea, Dropkick Murphys, AC/DC, Boston, CCR, Def Leppard, Jack Johnson, Gordon Lightfoot...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a participant of Canada World Youth, a non-profit organization that takes participants from Canada and an exchange country for six months of volunteer work in both countries. I spent three months in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and then another three months in Athlone, Cape Town, South Africa. I volunteered in a women and children centre where I was in charge of the day care. The mothers would drop of the children with me in the morning, then the mothers would take classes, have group activities and spend time with other adults while I would paint, read and draw with the children. It was an eye-opening experience like nothing else.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share my tea collection with friends and visitors. I love learning about local cuisine and I love to learn new recipes, so if you'd be willing to share some of your own recipes with me, then I'll be as happy as a clam.

Countries I’ve Visited
