Overview
About Me
I live for family, friends, food/drinks, and any new activity I can try. Up till 2016 I was trying to see as much of the world as possible, then I got the surprise of identical twins girls but even then I still want to see the world (and show it off to them).
I'm a Canadian girl who is spending her last few months in Canada, trying to show her Australian partner her country, before moving with him, her dual citizen 5 month old babies to 18,000km away in Melbourne.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
June 2015 I left a boring job to see the world. I couchsurfed a bit, worked on farms, slept amongst the chickens and enjoyed my 1 way ticket to Southeast Asia.
I've hosted a tiny bit and been hosted a little bit but think that couchsurfing is an awesome way of meeting people and exploring new places and would love to try it out a bit more...even if that means having babies tagging along.
Interests
I love food - eating it, cooking it, everything.
My sports (if I ever have time) are SUP (paddleboarding), dragon boating, hiking, camping and in the winter I like to go snowshoeing. I don't skate or play hockey so I am a terrible Canadian!
I love new experiences so I'll try just about any weird sport/activity/food/experience at least once - which has led to some great things like sandboarding down giant dunes in Peru and jumping off cliffs to disgusting things like eating scorpions.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I'm not too picky (or knowledgeable) when it comes to music but I especially love pretty much anything that can be played on a guitar and sung along to in a bar or around a campfire (warning: that does not mean I'm a good singer!)
Books - Usually any book I can get my hand on
Movies - Anything but scary movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've jumped out of an airplane (and would do it again in a heartbeat)
I've partied in caves overlooking Granada Spain
I've done whitewater rafting and whitewater paddleboarding
A 70km trek to Inle Lake in Myanmar
I've bungee jumped into a quarry
Trekking (solo) through the Banaue rice terraces in the Philippines
