About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see something new, do something new!

ABOUT ME

Hello, I am from Montreal, Canada and have recently departed on a trip to Europe. I am staying with family and was hoping to put my EU passport to good use, by finding a job and experiencing Europe they way Europeans do!

In the meantime I would like to visit some cities and meet other people living in Europe as expats or native citizens.

I am 25, female and have a degree in English Literature. I love art and museums and people watching. Reading, meeting new people, and eating are a few of my passions.

PHILOSOPHY

Grow, change, see, experience, run, feel the wind in your hair. I am trying to expand my own personal philosophy but looking to grow spiritually, emotionally and mentally. I am not sure what this world is all about yet and I am interested in finding out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had any couch surfing experiences yet, but I hope to soon. The only trouble is deciding where I would like to go!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Across the Universe!!! Moulin Rouge, Slumdog Millionaire, Brokeback Mountain, anything with Marilyn Monroe. The Cirque du Soleil "LOVE" show in Vegas blows my mind and I would see it over and over if I could. Recent book: Eat Pray Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Upon arrival in Holland, a small party was thrown in my honor and a huge amount of my Dutch family were there. I was completely overwhelmed by the love and hospitality of these people who have not seen me in almost 10 years - it was as though the distance did not exist. The experience of being surrounded by so much family was really amazing and moving - something I did not get to experience much in Canada as only a small portion of the family lived in my city.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English, French and Dutch. I love to read and write. I have as hairstyling skills and love to show other women how they can do their own hair.
