I love being outside, going new places and doing new things. I move around a lot and lately I have been motivated by mountains and open spaces. I use my work in ecology as a catalyst for my adventures and travels. This summer I'm studying aquatic ecology in Northern CA and this fall will be a new place and a new adventure, yet to be determined.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a low budget and low maintenance traveler. I usually camp or sleep in my car when I'm out exploring. I'm new to couch surfing but I like the idea of getting to know new places through the people so I'm excited to give it a try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first time seeing bio luminescence was on the Island of Tobago. I swam out in the water at night by myself which initially scared me, but once I was out there everything changed. First I saw the glitter all around my body in the water. Then I looked back at the beach to see fire flies flashing in the jungle canopy that lined the beach and up above my head the milky way was shining and twinkling bright. It was an amazing moment to share with the earth.
