About Me

Hi everyone, my name is Christian and I am 24 years old, from Queens, NYC, USA. I'm an avid traveler, and after taking my very first trip alone when I was 18 I have been hooked ever since. I love experiencing the world and it's people, landscapes, food, culture, and history. My goal is to capture the world through photos and stories that I can pass along to others, so that they may be receptive to other people and countries, and realize we are all one in the same living on this very beautiful planet. In this day in age, we are so lucky to have certain technologies that make it possible and easy to discover new places and people, and I want to utilize that along with the blessing and luck I have been granted to be able to travel.

I'm mostly a quiet and introverted person that gets lost in my own daydreaming and projects of all kinds, but I also love interacting with people, sharing stories, a laugh, and maybe a good meal or a glass of wine.

As a guest I can promise to be respectful, impeccably clean, and considerate of being in another persons space. I am ever so thankful for the people that have opened their doors to me and treated me with such hospitality. I love the local aspect of couchsurfing- as I've gotten to learn so much about the places I travel to through my hosts.

I love to run, take pictures, go to museums, eat all sorts of delicious foods, hike, sit in cafes and work on creative projects, meet people, walk around aimlessly through unknown cities and towns, and tire myself out so much during the day that I go to bed feeling relaxed and like I utilized my time to the fullest extent.

I did 2 years of university, took a break because I was wasting my money on "education", and right now I do seasonal work as a beach lifeguard in NYC (absolutely love my job). When I'm not working, I travel and live the life I truly desire.

* I cannot host right in New York now because I travel from October to April. From April/May to September/October I am very busy working 6 days a week and it may be possible but I can't guarantee. If and when I settle down, my doors will be open. I would like to give back to the CS community what it has given me...
