About Me

I've always considered myself a person who will try everything at least once. There's a relief I think in knowing that when I become old, as we all do, and too frail to travel, I will not regret things I was not able to do.

I just became a CPA last year and I'm currently working as an auditor in an audit firm. I try to travel abroad at least once a year. I enjoy writing poetry, meeting new people and immersing myself in foreign culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always been curious with the world and its different cultures. There's this Anthony Bourdain quote that I try to live by: "If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. Walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food. It's a plus for everybody."

I think couchsurfing or traveling like a local is the best way to travel. Not only can you get the best tips in the area from a local, you also gain a friend and that's wonderful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 19 years old, I traveled solo from Bangkok, Thailand to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have an open mind and I'm truly interested in discussions where I can learn new things be it intellectual, political, philosophical or even just silly things, as long as you are passionate about it.

I can also do volunteer works as I am passionate about humanitarian causes. My goal really in this world is to make an impact that matters so I'm trying to build my career out of that and if traveling or couchsurfing can give me access to those kind of opportunities, then I'm more than happy to contribute and share what I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I currently can't host right now (living in a place where visitors are not allowed), but I absolutely will when I finally can.
