Overview
About Me
Hi! I am Christian. I am a PhD student in Valparaiso Chile (which is really nice!!). I like to travel a lot and to get and stay in contact with locals. To conclude my profile: I am a really funny, open minded and active guy with a great sense of humor (at least everbody says that). =)
P.S. fell free to stalk my Facebook profile ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to explore whole the world, meet new people and cultures. Couchsurfing gives me the possibility get in contact with locals and to learn about their normal live and not the standard hotel or hostel experience which separates travelers from locals. I think CS should work like this:
You invite/visit a stranger and leave a friend. I always know it was a good CS experience when I its a pitty to leave somebody or to let somebody go.
Interests
I like to do new stuff and try to try out everything new. This helps me a lot to understand the world, people and myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
I saw a lot of movies and documentaries not all were good but who knows that before seeing them? I hear any kind of music which makes me happy from ABBA to Zucchero. I am not a big bookworm but I enjoy to read interesting articels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Looking at the milkyway lying at the beach with a campfire.
Halo: A circular rainbow around the sun, while climbing the rainbow mountain in Peru. Traveling 9 months in Latinamerica and visiting a lot of cool hosts over the whole continent.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach German and Bavarian language and how to open a bottle of beer in an impressive way. I like cooking and habe therefore some tricks up my sleeves. As well I am willing to learn everything new and exciting (from seeing new things to eat some insects).
What I Can Share with Hosts
My famous sense of humor and my cooking skills. Also german phrases which can be useful and some which aren't.
