My name is Christian Briones. I'm 25 years old. Hablo Espanol. Most people find me entertaining. I'm very friendly, (at least I like to think so) talking about myself feels strange. I'm a masters student at Brite Divinity School with a concentration in sexual and gender justice. I study the Christian religion, mostly but that leads me to study with other academic discourses such feminism, post colonialism, post modernism, queer theory etc.

I'm quite laid back, but also usually ready to party. Don't let my field of study fool you. I like to party. I enjoy working out, writing, reading, and stimulating conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to build relationships with people all around the world, and i want to have the opportunity to get to know people in the places I visit, and I want to provide others with the same opportunity.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a preference for hip hop, but I thoroughly enjoy all kinds of music. I'm always open to experience something new and unfamiliar. My favorite work of fiction is the book thief. The story captures beautifully the themes of death, oppression, and the importance of language.

Currently reading:Bird by bird by Anne Lammott, Indecent Theology by Marcella Althaus-Reid, and Valis by Phillip K. Dick.
