About Me

I do not know much about myself so I improvise:

I am sarcastic, selfish, arrogant, envious, disrespectful, intolerant and megalomaniac. In general, I am like the God of the Old Testament.

A very good person.

Leaving jokes aside.

My name is Christian Diaz. I'm a Humanities student majoring in History and I was an exchange student at Kanda University of International Studies.
I really love traveling and at this moment I am planning to go to Czech Republic to study during the summer before my graduation.

During my time in Japan I met a lot of excellent people, thanks to all of them I was able to grow more as a person.

Because of all the amazing friends I made I'm learning Portuguese and Catalan. I want to be able to communicate with them not only in Spanish or Japanese.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people while I travel all over Japan.

In the same way I would like to help anyone who comes to visit Mexico. I want to show the incredible things that my country have to offer to the world.

Interests

Everything related to History and Culture has my interest.
I love to practice Kyudo! The best experience I have in Japan was join to the Kyudo club of Kanda, I meet one of my best friends in the club.
But I always open to new topics and discussions, life is a process of constant learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is amazing by itself.

In Japan I was able to climb the Mount Fuji without the proper equipment (I was idiot that forgot to bring a proper 上着), I participated in a few Kyudo competition and I almost went to Nationals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning Japanese, Nahuatl, Portuguese, Czech, Catalan and in the future, I will start to study Latin.

I'm trying to be a specialist in Asian History, History of Religions or restoration of old documents.

At this moment I am working on a project for the rescue of historical memory in the archive of the Congress of the state of Jalisco.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In Japan, I worked as a Spanish teacher so I have a little bit of experience in that topic.
I also can teach the Way of the Arc, 弓道 (Kyudo), I have all the equipment in my country.
