My name is Christian Dijkman, And right now I am on a personal pilgrimage through France and Portugal in search for quiet, reflection and contemplation.

For the past 8 years I have spend a lot of my time in meditation and yoga retreat centres in the attempt to become more still and find some truth within. During this time I have learned a lot of practical skills as a handyman, found a personal interest in Permaculture, Natural building and I've met so many incredible people that I could easily write a book about them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the month of June and July I am looking for hosts who could support me on my personal pilgrimage in finding stillness and connect with the history. I would like to connect with locals that know their area and places of worship but humbly I will already be grateful for a place to sleep.
Besides my pilgrimage I would just like to get to know more people in different places, so that hopefully one day when I'll have my own place, I could host you when you're close to my home!

love smaller artist that share authentically, Tamino, Alice Phoebe Lou, Benjamin Amaru
I love the movie 'The Shack' its a bit religious but it displays the process of Surrendering & forgiveness incredibly.
Favourite books; The Portobello witch, Braiding Sweetgrass, Letting Go by D. R. Hawking's.

I love having conversations that arise from the depth of our being, I am fluent in the language of Emotions and I'm happy to share about my experiences. I am a wizard in the kitchen and force in the garden, so for longer stays I'd be happy to cook you a meal so you can relax after work or help you out with some home projects!
