I'm a 23 year-old college student. I'm in the process of switching my major from Biblical Studies to psychology. I grew up in the suburbs of LA and I'm the ninth of eleven siblings. I'm a total extrovert and I love to talk with pretty much everyone. I can't wait to meet you!

In the immediate, I'm on Couchsurfing because I booked a trip to Palmyra at the last minute to attend a weekend conference and I'm looking for a place to stay to offset the travel costs. More generally though, I'm the kind of person to make friends with the person sitting next to me on the plane or bus. I like meeting new people and forming interesting connections, so Couchsurfing seems right up my alley.

I'm kind of fascinated by everything. I've always been a nature enthusiast--I love to hike and I do it in all seasons. I also love music--everything from classical to pop to folk to Broadway. My most recent obsession has been high fashion and the influence fashion has on pop culture.

I have very eclectic tastes. I love top 40, but I also love Indie folk rock. Case in point: five of my favorite artists are Sufjan Stevens, George Ezra, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, and Ariana Grande.

Similarly, I like lots of movies, but I'm a sucker for cheesy American romantic comedies and sad foreign art films. Best recent films I've seen: Five Dances (American) and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? (Taiwanese)

My favorite author is Chaim Potok and the best of his books are My Name is Asher Lev and The Gift of Asher Lev. I also love Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Twilight.
