I'm Christian and I'm from Switzerland! I study Industrial Engineering and I could do a semester abroad in New Orleans. I am a passionate musician. I play the accordion and the piano. I play in several bands. The last four years I worked as a product developer and production process planner.
I want to use the time between end of the semester in N.O. and the start of my final semester in Switzerland to explore different places.
In my free time, besides music, I do track and field or go fishing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my studies in New Orleans I want to continue my journey in America. I've met so many locals in NOLA and thought it would be a great idea to meet locals in other cities, too! I like to talk to people from another place and get to know how they live, what they do. And of course, I like to tell about me.

I don't want to be a tourist. I want to feel and experience how people think and their mindset is in other parts of the world.
