About Me
Hello there :)
I have some difficulties in describing the "About Me"... Friends of mine sometimes compare me with a Teddy bear. I'm not sure if I like it, but it might fit^^
I'd describe me as an a-bit-charming chaotic-interesting-spontaneous-sometimes haphazard and very thankful-friendly-guy who tries to find out what the world has to offer. I do try to enjoy everyday and not to miss any rewarding events. Until university in October 2016 and a master's degree in "Landscape planning, Ecology and Nature conservation" . Hopefully -But that's the plan!^^
A friend told me once that there is no better way for spending money than in traveling... I think she's right. I just might expand it to "traveling and good food" ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me it is important on CS to spontaneously meet funny, crazy and interesting people and to learn from them about their culture, interests and ways of living.
In some way, it might show that there is only a neat difference between people all over the world, isn't it?^^
Interests
I think it is important to stay interested in everything your whole life. I'm always happy to learn something new and to memorize it, even if it isn't always possible (after a longer night in a bar... ;) )
I did the "Art-specialization" in school in Luxemburg so I got some basics and interests in this wide-spread discipline. My further studies went from architecture to landscape architecture. I'd lay my professional focus of interests in the interaction of landscape structures and ecology.
For the rest, there is hiking, fishing, cocking in every way and a lot, forestry, dogs, nephews, nieces, traveling, hanging out with friends and getting to know new people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Quite anything that is pleasing to the senses and intellect, with a slight preference on classical music and informative lecture. I love listening to music while falling asleep. And live-concerts in smaller locations, like bars. Always good for some reflexive chilling: Iggy Pop and The Passenger ;)
While traveling threw New Zealand - and quite always when I see mountains, I might be humming the catching songs of "The Lord of the Ring" an "The Hobbit" the whole time... Well, there is worse ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It depends on how your "amazing" is. During travel-time with a good friend we had many moments like "this is so great, we couldn't even tell anyone" ;)
Well, walking the "Camino de Santiago" in Spain, 1000 km, was quite amazing. And getting on top of Huayna Picchu - my personal battle with fear of heights^^
Teach, Learn, Share
This is something I ones read and really appreciate to tell people:
I wish you enough...
"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Good-bye.."
