Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music and movies. Foreign movies (not from the USA) are the best as they give me a view into a country's culture, attitude, experiences, and movie-like experiences. I read newspapers and magazines more than books (to stay with current events),.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak some Russian due to my travels and work - but English is best. I can share thoughts about business, international business, enthusiasm for China, and a laid back attitude. I have been living in a hotel for more than a week ---- and I feel a bit isolated and want to meet more local people. I am here interviewing for several jobs in Beijing. My move in date is flexible but I expect to be departing on August 5, 2017 (unless, you know, I get that job!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer continued practice in English language; stories from the various countries and places I have lived, worked, and visited; information about getting into Harvard Business School; and information about visiting the US and getting a green card. My wife is Russian from Kyrgyzstan and my daughter continues to learn Russian.

My family and I live in Falls Church, Virginia - which is 10 km from Washington, DC.
