Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Christian did couchsurfing succesfully 18 years ago in Portugal... now we want to explore the world with as a family.
Learn new and interesting things, meet up with lovely people, bringing joy and good feelings to the world.
All 4 of us are like children ; ) there is so much to see, learn, hear, feel, create and so on... on this lovely planet.
The earth is too big, too great, too wonderous to all explore it for your self, so we love to show our guests the most wonderous places in our surrounding, and we are confident that this is the way, how a open mindet peaceful togetherfunctions.
In a new culture, in a new area, we would like to feel how life is, how people life, how people think, how people work. All that, is simply not possible, in a Hotel room ; )

Music, Movies, and Books

As we are a family here... we most likely listen to nearly everykind of music, depending on the situation...
we do not like agressive music, and we do like the classic ones as bee gees, abba, the beatles, and so on... for us, that was "real" music ; ) ... with a meaning in it, with a groove and a flow...

We love to see movies based on real events and true storys. (as we are interested in the world)
Also we like to see documentations and movies where you can learn from.

In books, thats another kind...
for christian, there are two kinds of books. Books for learning something, and books to dream ; ) - these ones, have to shoot him out of his physical world into an pverwhelming imagination.
Raphaela likes to read thrillers and stuff like that...
as for the little princesses, the love nearly every book. Be it to learn new things, ore to get e nice story for the evening.... as long as there is nothing dangerous ore evil inside.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

we are in it, its called life !!!! ; )
thats by far the most amazing thing we can imagine.

as other people would write something as:
Taking an ice bath in the middle of winter
Jumping out of airplanes
... we are all throug with it...

so we can add having children, beeing a happy family, hosting people, starring at rainbows, loughing out loud, smell the freshly mowed summer grass, see how bees build up their honeycombs and endless other small and big wonders in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

We try to rase our children in an open, child appropiate, and most of all respectfull way. We are "home schoolers" and think of it as learning in life. As for teaching... someone can just teach what someone else want to learn. So it is not the teaching which matters, it´s the interest for learning new things that matters.

Shaering is great. Most everything is shared better than the other way around.
Food for example - adds great converstation to shareing
knowledge - adds chances to your horizon
the cauch - adds spirit, connectivity, friendship, happiness and so many other things to our lifes
well... love - opens up the universe for you - so thats some kind, should be added and shared evereywhere with all our doing ; )

What I Can Share with Hosts

Friendship
Knowledge (thousands of different things.. as Konwledge of the body (i´m a healer), fews of the world as i was apprentice, employed, selfemolyed, entrepreneur, investor and so on), knowledge of finances, kids "education" and some other wonders of this world
not just one couch, we have some extra beds and extra rooms as well
a beautiful garden
food ; ) - epecially the tipical austrian ones, but also international things ; )
