We are Kristine and Christian and traveling through Japan for the next 2 Months.
We are 23 and 25 years old and from Stuttgart Germany (You may have heard of it. It’s popular for basically 2 things: Mercedes Benz 🏎️ and Wasen or Oktoberfest🍻).
We both just finished our university degrees in May and are now taking some time off before starting a new chapter in our life’s. And what would be a better place for such a timeout than Japan 🇯🇵?

We are completely new to Couchsurfing but a lot of our friends deeply recommended Couchsurfing to us for our journey through Japan. So we thought… Let’s give it a try!
That’s what life is all about: Exploring new stuff and stepping out of your comfort zone.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We want to meet new people during our journey through Japan. And Meeting local hosts, whose living in Japan would be probably the best way to get to know the country.
We would love to spend some time with you as our host and to connect but we are also happy with a nice and comfy bed if you don’t have much time.

Furthermore, we reserved a huge part of our travel budget for food as you can guess from the pictures 😅🍣🍜🍱. So enjoying delicious food all over Japan is one of our main goals and we hope that our hosts can give us some awesome insides on nice food spots an restaurants.

Music:
In combination we both have a quite mixed taste in music ranging from Hip-Hop over German music up to classical music.

Movies:
All genres as long as it’s enjoyable. And especially Anime’s!!

Books:
Reading a lot. Favorit authors, amongst others: Stephen King, Haruki Murakami

I traveled through Europe in a old and shabby camper van called Bernd for 4 months. 🚐

Christian:
I already sent stuff into space twice. 🚀

Lehren, lernen, teilen

We can teach some German language as well as German (and European) traditions and culture. Learn English together and hopefully share some long lasting memories and funny moments together.

We can teach our hosts some important German words like Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher and we can practice some English together.
