I am from a small town in Texas but have been working in and around Austin most of my life which makes me opposite of what you would expect coming from Texas. Keep Austin Weird! I don't ride a horse or wear boots or a cowboy hat so here are the disappointing facts up front lol.
I am inspired from traveling and it helps me in turn to put those inspirations into my paintings. I feel like this world is so big with too much to explore and I will make an attempt to start seeing the world anywhere I can. I love meeting new people because I believe that life is about who you know not what you know and in that you will find success. I would like to help when/if I ever can because I am so grateful for the people that have helped me along the way in my journeys. Seeing new places, I believe is what keeps a soul healthy and a young heart fresh and rejuvenated in the mundane that can be life so I try to practice it as much as I can.
I can't cook, I don't have any musical talents or much to offer, only that I love listening and hearing about history from places I've been to from the people that have lived, experienced, or are a part of the culture in that place.
I love laughing and being funny as well and always saying yes to trying new food, drinks, customs, or anything new at least once. I personally believe if you don't try new things how will you know if you like something or not? I'm an open book, ask or talk to me about anything...really I was studying to be a nurse at one point so I mean anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think I'm on here for the reason most are. I like listening to stories or fun facts about cities from the people living there. I truly want to learn about the culture and the experiences people have had from the places in which they live. It's a fantastic way to see the world and meet awesome people with great recommendations for their cities as well. After all no one knows their areas better than the locals :)
