Overview
About Me
I live with my wife, my son (17) and three cats in a semi-detached house in a Munich suburb.
Love to visit concerts (Alternative, Jazz, Electronica, weird stuff, ...) and cultural events in general.
Nature is important for me, I love mountain walking and cycling and swimming in the small lakes in our neighborhood.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling in a tourist bubble makes me sad, I'm always curious to meet and talk to people and learn about the country. I hope that Couchsurfing turns out a great way to leave the comfort zone!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Shopping on a food market in Chiang Mai in Thailand, taking in the strangeness of the environment and the friendliness of the people at the same time.
Waiting for elephants to clear the road in Namibia and watching these mighty animals, separated only by the thin hull of our car.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a university teacher I like to inspire enthusiasm and to share my knowledge. Having fun while teaching is important to me. In the near future, I'd like to teach kids electronics and coding.
Meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds have taught me to be humble and to accept that there are many paths to a good and fulfilled life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like cooking and eating, taking in local spice and colour. I'm curious to meet new people and to talk about everyday life in Germany.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Costa Rica, Croatia, England, France, Iceland, Ireland, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, Ukraine, United States
