Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have just finished up from my seasonal position as Gardener at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY and I am now about to embark on a cross country trip to the Sacramento area where I will be studying Biodynamics at Rudolph Steiner College. Its a great way to save a buck while meeting some interesting people. I, in return would love to be in a position someday where I can reciprocate and host some fellow travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite story is a short story by Herman Hesse. Its title is Knulp. Im big into film. I really like Bergman and Bresson. Some of my favorite titles are Mouchette, Sawdust and Tinsel, Wiseblood, Paris, Texas, Three Women, Stalker, and of course The Shining.With music I could go on and on. I have a huge record collection. I love psychedelic music, Erkan Ogur, Izenzaren, Nass El Ghiwane, Baris Manco, Marconi Notaro. I am really into Ethiopian jazz as well, Mahoud Ahmed, Alamyehu Ashete, Menelik Wossenachew.

I saw Jerry Garcia, Halloween night, at the Brendan Byrne Center.

I play guitar. We can strum some tunes together. I know some Qigong. I can show you some moves I learned from Qigong Master Robert Peng. Oh and I can show you some Energy Medicines I learned from Donna Eden. Im a pretty good conversationalist as well.
