I would consider myself open minded, otherwise i would not try this couchsurfing thing :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
couchsurfing is a great way to meet other people, which is great because i actually like to be in company. Another point ist that, the Hosts are locals, they know how things are going and a good contact for questions concerning the destination :) I guess all this leads to awesome travelling.
