About Me

I'm a gay Argentinian guy currently living in Buenos Aires. I lived 6 years in the US (studied for an MS in Computer Science). My native language is Spanish, but I am fully fluent in English (and I speak some basic Portuguese). I currently work part time with an online website that does collaborative translations. I also teach writing workshops (short stories, essays, memoirs) and run a book club (short stories and novels, classics and new). I am also translator (English to Spanish), a writer and a journalist, (writing about books, movies, music, anything pop culture). I see humanity as varied and colorful, and travelling is the best way to exercise my curiosity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my last trips I have discovered that meeting locals is the best thing about travelling. You get to experience the places you visit in the best way, you learn about different life styles, and things that you didn't know you would end up loving! It's not only about the beautiful scenery, but about the cool people.
