My name is Christian and I am studying and living in Nuremberg in South Germany. I am open-minded person, interested in new cultures and because of my study abroad in Finland I became interested in traveling.

Normally in Nuremberg I often do sports like climbing and running as well as drinking and partying. For me a good life balance is important. I often go outside and enjoy the city and I meet often my friends in bars, where we are talking about our daily work and study.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I experienced during my travels that it is much more interesting if you are in contact with locals. After my exchange I visited some of my friends in their cities and they could tell and show me where for example the restaurants, spots or bars are. You get to know what the locals really think and like.
And this is much better than reading only your travel guide.

Interests

Basically I am interested in all new things which I don't know in the country abroad. So I am a curious person, who tests often new things.
I am open for everything, on the one hand culture and a bit of history is more important and also sightseeing.
On the other hand I am open to drink beers in the evening with friends/local/internationals, doing party or a pub crawl.
Relaxing at the beach or in a thermal bath is also part of my interest.

An really important thing is the local food for me. If I am in a new city, I wanna eat the local specialties and meals. But sometimes a Kebap is also okay :D

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is electronics/deephouse/techhouse. But I also hear mainstream and other genres.
I am not a big reader but I am watching series, for example got or house of cards.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing has been hitchhiking from Vilnius to Riga (over 200 km in 5 hours). It was a great and exciting experience.
