About Me

Masters Graduate

🈲 Do Not send unpersonalized requests! 🈲 I can’t host everyone, but especially not those who don’t take an interest in me as more than just someone who provides them with a place to sleep for the night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that it's way easier to learn about countries and regions from the locals than from disconnected study, just as people learn languages easier through conversation. Everywhere I've gone, locals have been (so far) able to give me a great and authentic experience of their homeland!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading and hearing about practical philosophy and am interested in the study of human society as a function of the innate biology of humans.

I love hearing about people’s value systems and morality. What do you find important and valuable in life?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Went hiking through the Nkomati river valley in Swaziland and camped out in the rainforest; Long-distance journeys on Indian Railways; hiking around Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India;

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share is my experience, education, and insights on life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I realize that the more I travel, the less I can truly be sure about in this world. With so many different types of people, cultures, beliefs, and mindsets, I hardly imagine anyone can glean a true picture of “things” from behind the scholarly desk.

I’ve learned many things at uni but nothing compares to the lifetime of experiences I have already had and will continue to have.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Jamaica, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Oman, Peru, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, India, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, South Korea, Swaziland, United States
