About Me

Since I was a teenager, I had this thought: "Wouldn't it be cool to cycle with a bike over the alps?" It took almost a decade until I finally did it. In 2015 I cycled from Germany (near Munich) to Italy (Venice) and back home. For that I bought an old used bike for a few bucks and a paper map, packed some old camping gear and started. I was completely untrained and had sore muscles for the whole tour, but after I came home, I just thought: "Wow, I want to do that again."

Don't ask me why, it took me 3 years to start the next tour. This time all the way through Germany, Sweden and a short part in Norway to the Nordkapp.

Since october 2019 I'm full time on the road with my bicycle. Starting from south Germany, I cycled through Switzerland and France to spent the winter in Spain and Portugal, enjoying the mild climate there. I stayed in the south until end of may and then returned to Germany. After the norwegian borders opened for travelers, I took a bus to Oslo and since then I cycle through Norway.

Long distance cycling, beside reading some spiritual books, definitly shaped my personality - in a good way. I got a more minimalistic mindset and value the simple things in life more.
Being surrounded by nature - just hearing the waves of the ocean, looking out of the tent in the morning or smelling the fresh air of a forest - brings me joy.
While I enjoy the freedom and loneliness of traveling by bike, I'm even happier when I meet new people and hear their stories.
In generell I'm an open minded, calm guy, but also honest and straight to the point. I'm always up to discuss deep stuff, crazy ideas and dreams.
Beside traveling I like cooking, going out/music festivals (techno), binging tv series and gaming (WoW, Hots, CS, Apex Legends).

Music, Movies, and Books

I can always recommend "the power of now" by Eckhart Tolle. Give it a try, but don't take every word to serious, it's the core concept that matters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(After cycling 3650 km) Standing next to the Nordkapp globe without anyone around.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're traveling, asking for help without expectations often leads to great suprise.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden
