My name is Christian. I'll be backpacking around the world for the next couple of years in search of spiritual growth, gaining knowledge from cultures outside of what I know, and to meet people from all over the world. Learning is my main goal. I never went to university, strictly because I never could learn from someone telling me something out of a book. Learning to me is experiencing, diving deep into the unknown, getting lost, feeling scared, happy, sad, anxious. How can you learn if you're not stimulating your emotions?

My backpack and my guitar are all that I possess, and I'm in search of what the world can teach me.

I'm NOT here just to use your couch. I'll be traveling for a long time, so meeting new people and learning is my main interest. Yeah I could stay at a hostel with other travelers, but to get a local's view on life is what I'm truly after.

My interests are vast. You can find me outside, hiking the trails that lead nowhere. You can find me playing my guitar on top of a mountain, singing my heart out to the world. You can find me at a brewery, enjoying craft beer, talking with strangers and having a laugh. And you can find me laying in a field, staring at clouds for hours.

As cliche as it sounds, music is my life. It drives me when I'm unmotivated, it calms me down when I'm angry, and it cheers me up when I'm sad. I listen to all genres and try to incorporate it into all my music playing.

Hiked/camped at the bottom of the grand canyon for 4 night. It was a sweltering 140F the entire time. Would I do it again? Of course.
