ABOUT ME

I am a relaxed, positive guy, who likes to have fun. I come from the north of Norway, where it's cold, and everyone (including myself) is half finnish and has a sauna at home (to survive in winters). I now live in Oslo. I work as a social educator, and I play in lots of bands, Musth and When Smoke Sets among others. I also run a record company with a friend of mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've never tried couchsurfing before, but I'm hoping to try it on my upcoming trip to Barcelona, and I would be happy to let someone borrow my couch in Oslo as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Directors: David Lynch, Sergio Leone, Martin Scorsese Quentin Tarrantino, Robert Rodriguez, Stanley Kubrick, Roman Polanskij. Into the Wild is a great movie. March of the Penguins, all the Monty Python movies. Freddy Got Fingered. Mafia movies.

Music: There is so much great music out there. My favorite band of all time is Mr. Bungle. Some other favorites are Pantera, Led Zeppelin, Down, Herbie Hancock, Thin Lizzy.

Books: Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Wilt by Thom Sharpe, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Dice Man, The Sandman, Sin City, Darwin: On Evolution, books about religion (eventhough I'm not religious, myself), Catching the Big Fish by David Lynch, books by Erlend Loe... and so forth
