I enjoy to observe and marvel. To discover scenes, objects, landscapes, the habits of people. To be open for the curiosities of life. I like to be around people who share such passions.

I enjoy to think and analyze. So I try to always be suspicious, curious, questioning. Sometimes I get lost in my own mind.

I enjoy to be calm and easy-going. Sometimes I need a break from the rush of everyday life. So if you like to relax: I'm in.

It might happen that you find out about the opposite side of my coin: which is full of fantasy, joy and wicked ideas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have both hosted and surfed - and I liked it. So it will happen again.

I found this quote of Tolkien and I can approve it: "We might do some things together. I don't know about sides. I go my own way; but your way may go along with mine for a while."

Interests

I have a deeply rooted passion for: tea, cats and chocolate. When not reading and writing, I'm stumbling through the Indian and vegan cuisines. And I used to spend many hours exploring the night sky with my telescope.

Other than that, I like to occupy my time with philosophical inquiries and sociological fieldwork - where I feel attracted by all kinds of spiritual and phenomenological expressions of daily life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting in Jerusalem, alone in this big crowd of devoted pilgrims, inside of the dim space in this big church, with all this candles and all this whispering around: this had been a very impressive moment for me.
