I'm a 21 year old, almost graduated Bachelor of Arts student from Christchurch, New Zealand.
I've decided to take the year off and, after working this summer, plan to travel, backpack and work for the rest of the year in Europe.
My biggest interests revolve around music, a bit of photography but also a bit of sports; basketball, rugby and cricket to name a few.
I'm also trying to learn French but that's still a work in progress to say the least.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly, to save on accommodation while also making new friends in the places I'm visiting. The whole point of my backpacking/travelling experience is to see new places and meet new people, the more I can do that and the cheaper I can do that for, the better.

Interests

Music, always down to talk about music or catch a live gig.

Music, Movies, and Books

Radiohead tops the favourite band list, but half the time it depends on what week it is.
Favourite film and book have to be the same, Trainspotting. Love anything Irvine Welsh has written. Love my films too but it's always hard to nail it down to a favourite few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Run the Paris Marathon and been to Iceland during the summer solstice!

I speak English pretty fluently, but I suppose that isn't a rarity. I can however, shed some light on New Zealand slang if you're interested in that.
Trying to dip my toes in some French so if you can help not embarrass myself while traveling around France that'd be much appreciated.
