Hello! I’m Christian, I️ was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and live in the Los Angeles area in California. I️ absolutely love traveling and the reason is because of all the people I’ve met while doing so. I’m out to learn, eat, drink, and adventure with other people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I am very interested in getting to know new people from all over the world! I love the idea of staying with welcoming kind hearted people who have a story to tell and desire to host others. I would love to make connections with these people and know that I have friends all over the world who may also one day come stay with me when I have a home.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is typically punk/alternative/rock/indie, mostly from the early 2000s, but I really enjoy most music.

I love a lot of movies, but my top three, in no particular order, are:
-Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
-The Perks of Being a Wallflower
-Whiplash

I tend to read popular series but I usually enjoy most fiction. Some favorites are definitely the Harry Potter series, LotR, Looking for Alaska, The Alchemist, and And Then There Were None. Recently I've been reading more non-fiction dealing with care for the environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had the opportunity to bungee jump off the highest commercial bungee bridge in the world in South Africa! 216 meters!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my perspective and ideas of the world, meaning I'd love to engage in awesome conversations with any host. I could also share some of my Mexican cooking skills, I could offer my help around their home, offer help with Spanish or English, or help with any of my other skillsets like photography!
