Hi! my name is Christian, I come from Chile and I study Interpreting in Concepción, Chile. I like singing and dancing and cooking, I always enjoy a good conversation and a cup of tea (or a beer). I'm into sports, football and tennis are my favorites, but I consider myself more of a music person, that's why I like playing the guitar and singing. I also like to travel and meet new people, there's a big world out there full of great people to share with! :D

Interests

I love art, so music and movies are my favorite things. I love singing and playing the guitar, and I'll never say no to karaoke! I also enjoy watching movies, just give me time to get the snacks and we're ready to go!
I also love to travel, it is the reason why i'm here. And cooking, of course, is the best thing for me to finish the day, some good music, some inspiration and let's start cooking!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: almost everything. I like rock, pop, some punk, balkan, pachanga, a bit of everything. I like classic rock bands like Queen, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, etc. I like also bands like Foo Fighters, Weezer, Rhapsody of Fire, Sonata Arctica, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, The Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, among many, many others. I like pop, too, artists like Robbie Williams, Mika or Amy Macdonald,. Some folk (First Aid Kit, Simon & Garfunkel, etc) and so on.

Movies: I watch a lot of films! I like nerdy stuff like Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Superhero movies, Harry Potter, etc. I also watch other kind of movies: horror films (I love the classic ones), comedies, the list is very long.

Books: I try to read a lot, I always take a book with me to college or to any trip. I like authors like Julio Cortázar, Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Benedetti, JK Rowling, J.R.R Tolkien, Ernesto Sábato (El túnel is one of my favorite books of all times), Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled across Europe on my own, meeting people on the road and living the adventure in every city I went to. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you things about my culture, some spanish and german (if you will); I can share some funny stories, a great time cooking and singing, and some good company :D and I'm always willing to learn something new, maybe a bit about the language you speak, some recipes or tips for future adventures.

If you like to cook, then we can have a great time! learning some new recipes sounds good, isn't it? not only that, I can show you some of my culture, both chilean and latinamerican, I can teach you some spanish and german and we can share our experiences, and I tell you, as a chilean who studied in Europe, I have a few stories to tell, and trust me, they'll make you laugh! :D
