I am a native "American-English" speaker and a pretty fluent Russian speaker. I speak basic Chinese (mandarin) learned in Beijing. I have traveled many places but sadly not to Southeast Asia (but yes to Korea and China), Australia, Central or South America or sub-saharan Africa - yet. I love sharing my experiences and language ability and learning from others. I am also a political scientist and somewhat capable with programming in Stata so I like trying to answer questions with data and using statistical models to do that, I'm a pedagogue/teacher and student at heart so any skills I have I'm always delighted to get to share them.
