Overview
About Me
DEAR, TRAVELERS!
Please, do not be afraid to take precautions with staying at a host's place, never be afraid to shoot a quick message to a past surfer to ask about their experience with the host and if they felt comfortable. Especially female identifying travelers. You can always send me a message if you want to ask about any prior hosts/surfers of mine :)
Here is a pre-written letter you can send to past surfers:
"Hi __(past surfer)__,
I had seen you had CouchSurfed at ___(host's name)__'s place in __(place/location)__, ________ in the past. I'm a solo traveler and just want to make sure I can trust this person and will be safe. Have they done anything while you were surfing with them that made you feel unsafe?
Thanks for your time! I hope to hear from you soon. Safe future travels. "
CURRENT MISSION
survive my whirlwind twenties (and come out half-alive)
EDIT: I survived and am very much alive :)
ABOUT ME
I smile a lot, think too much, love the company of other, enjoy alone time as well, keep a journal, love animals, love tea, small things make me happy, appreciative, love ideas and seeing inspiration in others. I enjoy listening to passionate souls, I pack some instruments around the apartment. love to draw, I am a very feeling type of person, spontaneous, always up for an adventure! And always striving to do things that are initially perceived uncomfortable. I want to expand.
These days, I often travel with my beloved partner, Josh, but make a point to travel alone because of how it forces me to grow.
I prefer to host folks that are coming through 3 nights minimum however I understand that sometimes you can be in a bit of a bind and need a place. If you send me a copy and paste message I will politely decline, it tells me you did not take the time to read through my profile. I love entertaining and having company that can expend cultural exchange :)
