Overview
About Me
I'm a creative person. I love to sing, to play the piano, drawing henna/mehndi and sometimes I try something new like drawing paintings. :)
That's what I do in my spare time.
For living I work at a home for mentally ill women and besides that I study Social Work.
I live together with my husband who was born and raised in India. He is also registered on Couchsurfing and hosted people many times.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was in India for the first time I was living with an Indian family all the time. It is the best way to experience a culture deeply. I would like to avoid staying in Hotel from now. For me there is no use anymore to go to a country and stay away from nationals.
Also I would be happy to show my city to curious traveler. I used to type or speak online to people from all over the world but I miss the part that we meet. I'd like to change that.
Interests
In my freetime I love to make music so I keep taking piano and vocal class at music school. Also I have a band.
Whenever I have time I make a henna paste and draw henna on my skin :)
I'm very very very... much interested in Indian culture, also I'm learning Hindi and Telugu

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
I love so many different kinds of music that I don't know to list them. :)
MOVIES:
I love bollywood movies. They are colourful and full of emotions. Very less movies can make me cry and laugh so much as bollywood movies. My favourites are: "Kal ho naa no", "My name is Khan", "Aashiqui 2", "Jab tak hai jaan" and "Chennai express".
I like other movies too :)
Some favourites: "A beautiful mind", "The lovely bones", "PS: I love you" and "Benny & Joon".
TV-SHOWS
My favourites: X-Files, Game of Thrones, Scrubs, Ally McBeal, The Big Bang Theory, Dexter, Californication
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To see the Taj Mahal in Agra (India) was a beautiful experience to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I'm very interested in Indian culture so henna/mehndi art became a passion to me. I mix my own safe paste and if you like to try it I can draw something on your hand or wherever you like :)
