ABOUT ME

Hmm, my friends would probably say....Christiane is possibly the most sensitive person I've met, although she's toughened up a bit and become a lot wiser in the past fews years since she's gone solo in the world. She's bloody funny, has a very expressive face and a smile that comes from inside, probably from the tip of her toes.
She is interested in people. If they talk or can express something then she's there trying to find out more. Oh, and she's cheeky and mischievious and is usually the last one on the dancefloor.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life. Love life. It's a gift and we only have one so fill it with nature, people, learning, playtime, adventure and fun. Challenge yourself to do new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Previously I've just met people at CS events and spread the word, now I can actually offer a futon and be a host. I haven't as yet stayed with any CS's but I hope this will change in the future.

Interests

Mountains. Climbing them, hiking them, being near them, on them etc Basically, putting myself through fear and pain just to feel on top of the world and to get a glimpse of the world around us. Ultimately to respect nature and to make sure I remain grounded.
Swimming, cycling, dancing, anything that involves adventure and a little bit of risk. It makes me feel alive and grateful of that fact.

Guy Ritchie movies,Coen Brothers. I'm always interested in foreign movies.
Books: Philip Pullman, real stories that inspire, biographies.
Music: Everything. If it makes me feel or sing then I'm happy to listen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-My first experience of BIG mountains 7 years ago...watching the sunrise at the top of Mount Sinai, Egypt. One of those spiritual moments.
-Experiencing Chinese New Year in Beijing, 2011.
