About Me
Well, well, well... Looks like I've interested someone into checking out my profile, huh?
Alright, then. If you're expecting your usual Mexican bloke who dances cumbia, salsa, and/or bachata like a Pro, madly loves his football team, and is the nightclub's ultimate player, "this is not the droid you're looking for."
On the other hand, if you got the reference above, you probably know what to expect from here on. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, amongst other nerdy interests.
So if you're still in, you may keep on reading below about some other stuff I'm into and what I actually am like.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I strongly believe one has never made enough friends, especially when travelling!
Therefore, I see Couchsurfing as a great opportunity to meet lots of new, interesting, fun people to make the very best out of a trip by sharing travel experiences and exchanging some advice with one another.
Interests
I'm a lot into Indoeuropean languages and I've got huge interest towards European history; hence I'm passioned about philology (historical linguistics).
I've also developed a growing love for board games (mostly party and war games) as well as scale model building (and painting a bit) during the last year and a half or so.
However, it is music what I consider to be the most important aspect in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is my biggest passion in life; there's not a thing on Earth that I enjoy more than playing and listening to my favourite tunes. So it's kind of troubling to get me started on this topic, since I could just go on and on forever!
But in order to keep it as simple as possible, here's just some of my top favourite bands/artists:
Mando Diao, Oasis/Noel Gallagher, Radiohead, The Hives, The Vines, Alt-J, The Boxer Rebellion, Kent, Muse, Cage The Elephant, Spoon, Travis, Kodaline, Seafret, Jet, The Charlatans, Kaizers Orchestra, Paolo Nutini, The View, Lewis Capaldi, The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Coral, Milky Chance, grandson, and Kygo.
I LOVE sci-fi films! Any solid story involving space and/or time travel, multiple universes, supernatural stuff, twisted lab experiments, etc., will always be my first option to watch. And contrary to what one might assume up to this point, Star Wars films are NOT my favourite of them all.
Aaand I like History, Linguistics, and Star Wars books exclusively.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Co-interviewed Spoon in 2019, met Noel Gallagher three times (2012, 2015 and 2016) and all Travis members twice in 2014, and had them all sign my first acoustic guitar in every occasion, which now sadly lies unplayed in a cottage somewhere in Scotland with a friend of mine.
Teach, Learn, Share
I consider myself skilled enough to teach some Spanish, English, basic Linguistics, and to play guitar and ukule to anyone interested.
I'm always up for practising and improving my English and my poor Swedish, German and Portuguese, or learning a new language, as well as learning all the music theory I haven't, since I'm a self-taught player.
I've got plenty of music and Star Wars knowledge to share with anyone who bothers listening to either. History and linguistics to discuss, and then MORE Star Wars to discuss. lol
What I Can Share with Hosts
Fun, drunken nights out, deep and unforgettable late-night conversations, manners, appreciation, and again, plenty of music, languages, linguistics, history, and Star Wars discussion if you allow it.
