Overview
About Me
I'm a senior in college, ready to go anywhere as soon as I get my degree. I haven't ever done much "real" traveling though, only in the form of short day-trips during two cruises. So once I'm free to roam, I plan to visit as many places as possible!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel someday but I have little to no funds, especially with college loan repayment coming up soon. I also have only ever left the country on cruise ships, visiting our destinations for only a few hours at a time in the most tourist-y areas. I want a genuine international experience! I want to live a day in the life, not (just) sight-see.
Interests
I study Geographic Science and GIS at my college, JMU. I love being outdoors, connecting with nature, and learning about the world. Being creative and playing music are my favorite pastimes; I play violin and mandolin, and a little guitar/whatever I can get my hands on! I enjoy gardening and working outside on sustainable projects of the homesteading sort, and cooking/eating great food :)

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm more than happy to attempt to teach anyone some beginner violin/mandolin/general music skills! I'd love to collaborate with any kind of musician in a jam session, and learn new instruments. I'm currently in a farm internship class, so I'm picking up new growing skills there, and I have a big interest in permaculture and homesteading skills so I'd love to help with any related projects. I also would really just love to learn any new skills to add to my toolbox of knowledge!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Musical entertainment, cooking and cleaning, general help of any kind; I'm up for anything! Gardening/farming, computer design, laundry; you name it and I'll try my best.
