Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I really don't :( I live on a yacht for my work and can't have people to stay but still hope to use couchsurfing as a way to meet people until I can get back into it properly! Previously though I was surfing, hosting, meeting and just enjoying... Also trying to expand the Gladstone Region CS community - join the group for updates :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed my way through Europe in 2009 with my partner and decided after just our first experience we never ever ever want to stay in hostels again! I then hosted when possible back in Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like lots of things! But my favourites are usually based around real people. I think the best thing I've ever seen has to be the "McConkey" movie, but I'm also a huge fan of anything by Seb Montaz, especially following the frenchies :) Hmmm same with books too... Into the wild, Steph Davis' books and yeh kinda sticking to the theme!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky diving, bungy jumping, waterlining, swimming with seals, conquering mountains, a glacier erupting, baby turtles rushing to the ocean, hitch hiking, unbelievable acts of kindness and amazing coincidences - all the things that are only made possible because we are lucky enough to have the opportunity to go Traveling!

One of my favourite things about CSing is having a beer and sharing stories! When I learn more about the area I'll be living (Imperia, Italy) I'd hope to be able to share some local knowledge and secret spots too of course !
