Hi my name is Christin and I stumbled over Couchsurfing because of a friend of mine. I am an optimistic, aktive, spontaneous, open-minded and friendly person. I am 1,83cm and live in Switzerland since about 10 years. I grew up near Hamburg. Actually I moved around 15 times in my life and I am 19 years old. That seems a lot....yeah, it is a lot. But I think that is also the reason why I love to see new places and meet new, lovely people, because I did my whole life. I am working in an office but I am planning to study graphic design. Hopefully I can start within the next 2 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I already wrote, a meanwhile good friend of mine told me about his experiences with couchsurfing. At first I was skeptical, I don't deny. But I listened to his stories. The people he met and things they did together...and then I was a bit jealous (in a good sense) and could give me a punch, that I never thought about this possibility to travel before. So...now I am here and looking forward to MY first couchsurfing experience and hope, that I can tell others about my stories as he did it to me. I really should thank him, after that :)

Interests

I think my range of interests is extremely large and I feel like it is growing day by day. Lately I neglected to read, even though I do it with pleasure. Everything all around art impresses me. So I think that is a big part of my life. I love to paint and also take some photos.
I enjoy to spend time outside, there I am always up for fun. If go for a hike, climb in the mountains or jump out of a plane, I am always ready for any kind of adventure! Of course I love to meet people and have some interesting conversations, listen to their life story, talk about political events and stuff like that. There is always a reason for an interesting chat. Go to a good party with friends should not be missed. I love to dance even if I wouldn't say that I'm good in it. Once in a while it could also be enjoyable just to hang out, listen to music or watch a movie. Well, I think I have mentioned everything important to me. Abridged version - I just (try to) enjoy my life as much as I can. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Most of my time I listen to electronic music and indie rock. But genres are so extensive that I really cannot generalize. It also depends a lot on my mood. A playlist reveals so much about a person and my has a wide variety of music.

Movies:
Similar to my music preferences is my taste in movies. My absolutely favorite genre are the dramas but not like Titanic (although I have never seen it). I really like them stories, which tear me emotionally apart :-D.
Unfortunately I watch documentaries too rarely, I don't know why but actually I like them too.

Books:
I really need more time to read. No...I WANT more time to read. And not kind of Shades of Grey shit haha. Books which are interesting, where I can expanding my horizon and learn something. That kind of books are the best. But to be honest, I cannot hide some trash books in my collection :)
