ABOUT ME

People who know me would describe me as open-minded, empathic, social, independent and philosophical. Maybe with naively good faith in the world. BUT, I have experienced so much kindness and mutual understanding with others throughout my life; all differences in culture - age, religion or background set aside - so I utterly believe in the good.

Right now I´ve got back from a long journey around Asia. I have just moved to Oslo now, searching for a new job :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am interested in oxygen, music, yoga/mindfulness, laughter yoga (I am an instructor), openminded people, the art of improvisation, the art of staying in the present and a whole bunch of other stuff!

Interests

First of all, I love traveling and meeting new people! These encounters have been valuable to me ever since I went to the United States as an exchange-student at the age of 16. I feel obligated almost to broaden my view by experiencing what the world has to offer, not through reading about it in a book, but getting first-hand experience by seeing it for myself.

Music is also a passion of mine. I enjoy singing myself, listening to different kinds of music and going to concerts.

By profession I am a social worker. I've worked with a woman with physical disabilities (sitting in a wheelchair) for almost 6 years, but I quit my job recently in order to be able to make this long journey of mine possible.

As many other Norwegians in this small country of ours with only 5 million inhabitants and lots of space, I like being close to nature, going for hikes and appreciating beautiful sceneries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on safari to Serengeti national park and the Ngorongoro-crater in Tanzania, watching wild animals in their own territory. An unforgetable memory!

Seeing the limestones in Halong Bay, Vietnam (on the UNESCO's world heritage-list). It gave me a magical, mysterious and magnificent sense of freedom and greatness just to be there.

Spending 5 weeks in an ashram in India - doing yoga, meditation, having interesting deep coversations, slowing things down and listening to my heart.
