About Me
Please respect. If you are someone who thinks they can push my boundaries or hit on me, then I am not someone to talk to. I will not tolerate disrespect. For guests wanting to visit, I have family next door. All of my neighbors know me and watch out for me.
Now that is out of the way.
When traveling, I'm always out and about and plan an itinerary for myself well in advance. I don't care much for fancy hotels and just need a place to sleep at night as I'll be gone from morning until the evening.
I'm an open book so, ask me anything. I'm also very tidy and clean up after myself like a fully functional adult.
If this sounds good and you're interested in having me as a guest, don't be afraid to send me a line!

For those of you wanting to visit Texas, Welcome!
I have plenty of food and tend to cook, so I’ll probably invite you to have dinner. I live very close to downtown Fort Worth, 15 mins to Arlington, 30 mins to Dallas and 3 hours away from Austin. You can see a lot in the metroplex.
We have lots of parks, museums, events, etc and I’ll be happy to be your guide.
For now, I only have a couch that pulls out into a bed, but I’m getting a bed for the spare room soon. My home is small, but cozy with all essentials. I have family right next door and am well known in my neighborhood. My neighbors are pretty great, quiet, hardworking people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m couch surfing because I am trying to see as much of the world as possible in the next year.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m an avid reader of reddit. That counts, right? I’m very much into SciFi, museums, fairs, and nature walks.
Currently done with the Mahabharata and moving on to Brene Brown Atlas at Heart.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gosh, this is a hard one. I'm a pretty tame person so, I wouldn't say anything I've done was amazing or remarkable, honestly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was a teacher for many years and changed careers to work in web development/analytics. I am not afraid to teach, give helpful guides to places or share my experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love of cooking and varied knowledge in a number of subjects from Neuroscience to British Literature to Philosophy and Politics. I engage and study it all.
