About Me

I am a quiet, non-smoker who loves spending time in nature. I love all natural settings, from oceans to mountains, to forests to lakes to waterfalls to rivers. Although I very much enjoy exploring cities and experiencing local culture while traveling, nothing compares to the beauty and quiet respite of being immersed in nature. I love healthy, simple living, and would consider myself an extreme minimalist. I am traveling with less than 9kg in my backpack, which it is currently actually everything I own. For me, minimalism means not being tied down by or being too attached to material possessions, and I love the freedom and opportunities that it has offered me in my life over the years. I enjoy yoga, walking/hiking, being in nature, eating delicious and healthy food, travel, learning new things and having new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Book(s): Clan of the Cave Bear and the whole Earth's Children series. Anything to do with spirituality or self help.

Movies: Of course there are the classics like the Sound of Music, The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, and others which I am sure I am forgetting. Right now, I am gravitating more toward documentaries and I love food travel shows.

Music: Anything with beautiful harmonies or cool instrumentals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In July of 2016, I set out on a solo road trip around the United States, which unbeknownst to me at the time, was the beginning of a traveling, nomadic lifestyle. I have never looked back since.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am fluent in Spanish, so if you're learning Spanish and would like to practice, we can practice together. I am also really into adult coloring and currently have a book of really beautiful mandalas. I have been known to give them away at random, so I can't promise that I won't give you one for hosting me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Thailand
