I am an entergetic and enthusiastic lover of life. I enjoy meeting diverse people and making true life long connections. My focus has always been on music, but I am appreciative of all of the arts. I've had a career in digital marketing that mainly focuses on Email innovations and I have hopes of one day owning my own music venue that would host a verity of artist. I also have interest in opening a general store that could somehow be incorporated with my music venue. I actually have a fantastic idea in that capacity!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this would be a great way to immerse myself in the culture of the places that I plan to visit. I'm an excellent guest! Also, this seemed to be a fun way to help facilitate my travels. I'm always up for an adventure and I believe that entering someone's home is a small peek inside of their humanity. I'm very interested to see how others live and what I can learn while in observance.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a classically trained musician, but I am an appreciator of all genres of music. My most favorite is Soul music as it's the music that I grew up on and provides me with a sense of nestalgia. I love movies and I enjoy the experience of going to a movie theater. The films as of late have been a bit disappointing, but my favorite movie genre if it is a genre is always a good tear jerker. The move The Color Purple gets me every time. I also love To Kill A Mocking Bird. Same with the books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel I have accomplished a lot of amazing things, but I would say that my biggest accomplishment is around my music studies. I am a graduate of The New England Conservatory of music where I studied Jazz Performance as a Vocalist.

I'd love to meet other musician to collaborate and to get a deeper understanding around specific genres of music. I'm really into Afro Cuban and I'd like to know more of the principles for the rhythms and sounds.

I can share my smile that comes with a friendly and upbeat attitude behind it. I'm an excellent cook. I also can share my experiences in living in so many different places in the United States as I have a wide range and diverse perspective on my country of origin.
