I am a german physiotherapist, 45 years old, and have been living in Iceland for 14 years. I live with my two daughters and my dogs in a small village about 12 kilometres from Akureyri in the north of beautiful Iceland. I work at the local hospital.
I like hiking, skiing and running and I spend a lot of time outside with my dogs.
I like to talk to people and hear their stories and people say that I am a good listener :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in people and the world! I love to hear about life in other countries and enjoy having guests and hearing their stories. And I have a lot of stories to tell about Iceland too :)
Since I joined Couchsurfing I feel like a whole new world is opening up for me- I love this idea!

Interests

I like hiking, skiing and running and I spend a lot of time outside with my dogs in all kinds of weather. Beeing outside makes me happy.
I am a knitter too and I know how to knit a traditional icelandic sweater ;)
