About Me

I work from my computer as a travel blogger and also co-owner of a travel company. I live to help people see the world and understand other cultures. Travel is my favorite thing in the world and I love to meet people from all over and understand more about them and their lifestyle. I am on here because you can’t just show up and always get an authentic experience. Every time I have met up with someone on couchsurfing my trip has been so unique and wonderful and so when I have time, I choose to meet locals on here as opposed to other foreign backpackers in a hostel.
I also am a also a technical recruiter mainly for software engineers and UX designers.
I spend about a month in each country meeting people, getting to know local culture and (soon to be) helping young professionals see the world.

I left San Francisco because I just don't believe in living to pay bills and die (that's not living).
I spent a year backpacking the world and volunteering on 5 continents. Now work fully from my computer! Please reach out to me! I love meeting new people (and dogs/animals). :) Ive met some of the coolest people ever on CS so Im a believer!

*I no longer live in San Francisco as I spend a month in different countries traveling so unfortunately I can not host you.

**Please do NOT contact me if you have Intentions of using CS as Tinder... I am not interested in the slightest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. Throughout my travels I have had the opportunity to meet thousands of amazing people who have shared everything from their experiences, food and even beds. I am continually surprised at the kindness that people around the world show me. A few years ago, sleeping on a strangers couch would not have even seemed plausible. Especially not having a stranger sleep on mine. Now, I understand that there is nothing like seeing a city through the eyes of a local and that people are essentially good. Nothing makes me happier than making memories and shared experiences with like-minded individuals. Unfortunately life on the road does not allow me to host yet - hopefully someday very soon!
Even if I cannot accept guests at this time, please reach out to me as I would love to meet up!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to think of my life as a never ending Beatles song.
You can find me at any music festival happening at this moment.

“Without music, life would be a mistake.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche

I am always reading about 10 guidebooks at one time for where I am going, want to go or even where I am.
Books on Religion, Buddhism, Spirituality, Harry Potter, Game Of Thrones

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friend and I successfully escaped from Thai kidnappers despite being over 10 miles outside of any city. I feel good enough about it now that I can even laugh about the fact that I eventually ended up barefoot, mud soaked and without a toenail in the hospital.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m kind of a jack of all trades, so I would love to swap any knowledge with you! I have a certification in nutrition, worked at a brewery and wine tasted my way through Argentina. Food + Drink everything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am friendly, fun and can keep up a conversation on pretty much anything. Communication Major ;) I love to hear other peoples stories so if you want someone to tell your life story to - I would love to hear it!
I am a serious extroverted introvert so I'm literally down to stay in, have tea or stay out and have fun till the sun comes up.
