I'm a cheerful, curious Geograph and Speech therapist (yes, I know, two professions that seem to have nothing in common :) ). I love to discover new places - no matter whether on the doorstep or abroad - and get to know people, their lifestyles and ideas on things.

CURRENT MISSION
Building a tiny house. My boyfriend and I are amidst the planning and building process for such a house and we are quite obsessed with the idea of living in a small space. That‘s why we currently often don‘t have the time to host people the way we’d like to. But don’t hesitate to ask! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy very much meeting new people and exchanging stories and ideas.
To me, travelling is not about visiting the most famous tourist places and sights but especially get in contact with locals to gain insight in everything I would miss if I’d see tourist attractions only. Be it the nice little pub around the corner, listening to your life stories while having a picnic in your favorite place or meeting your grandma - I'm in! :)

Interests

discover things... laugh at funny goats... dance West Coast Swing... photography... gardening... Yoga / AcroYoga (but didn’t practice it for a while)... hiking, cycling & being outdoors... cooking, trying new recipes and - of course - eating! :)
