Chi sono
Just another human, carving my path in life. I was born and raised in California, USA, moved to Hong Kong three years ago for law school, and am now in a one year study abroad program in Pamplona, Spain to study Spanish and little philosophy. Trying to explore and experience as much as possible in my time in Europe. I may be available to host in the end of May and middle of June, depending on my travels.
I consider myself open-minded and individualistic. I love learning new things, having stimulating conversations (anything from life experiences to philosophy to memes. doesn't matter.), the sun, and delicious food. Music is the constant in my life that I can't live without. I am the kind of person who is perfectly content spending a lot of time alone/chilling at home, or up for dancing until 7am to good music. Depends on my mood.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
I'm pretty new to this -- I heard so many nice things about CS from my close friend who surfed a lot during his year of studying abroad in Europe. I've been to a couple of CS meetings in Hong Kong before.
I think CS is such a great way to get to know a city in a different way, to meet new people and learn about different cultures. It's not just a free place to stay; it's an an opportunity to open your heart, to share, and to make some awesome memories.

music. working with music, making it, playing it...
taking photographs, street art and graffiti, all types of food of different cultures (but especially brunch...cheese...chorizo...and tea/coffee), cooking and baking, embracing how much of an utter millennial i am, captivating novels, writing, architecture, trying to be witty, hiking, yoga.
I tend to pick up (and drop) a lot of hobbies. Lately I've been learning some graphic design and writing on Medium.

Musica, film e libri
Listening to: hip-hop (mostly 90s & 00s), instrumental hip-hop, experimental beats, everything Soulection, downtempo/chillwave, house, deep house, nu disco, tech house, electronica.
I appreciate and enjoy listening to just about all kinds of music (except country and death metal. sorry) but mainly listen to hip-hop and house inspired sounds. Love gigs and festivals.
Watching: random mix of dramas and comedy, heist films, wes anderson, anything with beautiful cinematography, the office, breaking bad, louie
Reading: dystopian literature, modern philosophy, murakami, millennium series, bret easton ellis. Was pretty into existentialist lit a few years ago
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Hiked a 2002m mountain, Erata, in the Pyrenees last month in the snow--maybe not that impressive for experienced mountaineers, but it was an adventure (one in which I fell, many times.)

I'm happy to learn about anything, even if it's not necessarily a topic I'm crazy about.
I love sharing new music and all forms of art; cooking is a big pastime of mine and I would be happy to cook for you, or we could cook something together.
Can also teach you a bit of Cantonese (unfortunately my Mandarin skills are very limited), or if you're learning Spanish too ¿podemos practicar conjuntos, no?
