About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Christina, I'm 22 and I'm from little friendly town Uzhhorod.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first trip to abroad was 3 years ago: Paris is the first place I've visited.
I fell in love with this city, people, culture. After that i decided to explore Europe and not only. I want to meet new people, views, knowledges and I always hunt for new experience and inspiration.
I want to help people to discover world, exactly if they want to visit west Ukraine, Uzhhorod :)
Also I'd like to improve my communicative skills and my English.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I really like to listen music, except pop music. Mostly i prefer jazz, reggae, funk, old rock.
MOVIES: I can daily spend time for movies. I think I've seen hundreds of films. So if you also like this way of procrastination we will have something to talk about ;)
BOOKS: It depends on mood. Some period of my life I read psychological books, now i prefer fiction

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My second Love.
It started 31st of December 2 years ago, when my tour group just arrived to the city. Everybody were very tired and feel sleepy cause we traveled by bus. When we view around, we start to be charming: 8am, sun is shining and city is empty. Just only one family riding a bikes and singing HB song for the youngest one. We went through channels and looked over not curtains big windows. In the middle day we felt weird cause citizens started to burst salutes (it's legal just one day per year, THIS DAY!). After few hours with guide, I've decided to go without my group and discover places not for tourists. It was magical place where I wanted to stay for ever. So in the middle of the night skies were shining brightly like in the morning because of salutes. And I with my friends run from one channel to another to stay with this fairy moment. It was the best NY ever. Thank you Amsterdam! I hope we'll meet again.
Because of the Netherlands I've started a new tradition: to celebrate NY in new city.

Summer in Georgia
Few years ago I spent 2 hot month in Tbilisi. I worked in aquapark like animator. It was the most memorising summer in my life. I've met as many different people as it was possible: politics, ambassadors, bikers, DJs, racers, religious and not;) and so on...
I've learned a lot about their culture, religion, cuisine, views on life and I've earned really good friendly people in my life.
