About Me

Life has it's ups and downs but in general I am a happy person and when monotony overcomes me, travelling is my saviour.

My favourite way of travelling is taking my backpack, holding up my thumb and seeing where it ends.

I like stupid, spontaneous ideas, discussing politics, beer and cooking.
I absolutely dislike prejudices and injustice. I set quite high moral standards to myself and like to talk about ethics

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Making the world a better place is a huge task so we have to start with small things we change.

And this is why I love couchsurfing. It helps to eliminate prejudices and the borders we might have in our heads.

There is no better way to find new friends all over the world and learn about people of all kinds who widen your perspectives.
All in all a concept of enrichment for everyone taking part.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love literature but I hate reading (real books tend to fall on my nose when falling asleep while reading). This is why I am addicted to audiobooks. Such as:

The Medicus, The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and disappeared, Who Am I and If So How Many?

My preference for music varies with mood. I often like political society critical stuff, some very old rock LPs, classic music and for parties definitely techno (plus all the genres I can't name)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. In summer 2017 I married two of my very good friends to eachother. I guess there barely is any greater honour than in front of all guests performing such a unique ceremony.

2. Adopting the best dogs you could ever imagine

3. ....well, I'll leave some mistery for you to find out yourself :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I was told I'm a decent storyteller and I have reasonable spanish-teaching-skills.
I know how to cook a meal out of almost nothing and have an entire vegan cook book in my head. And I guess if necessary I know how to clean a huge mess in little time.

Despite from this I like to share good wine and beer and deep conversations about history and philosophy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sometimes some specialties from my hometown. Whenever I have some beer and all the stories and experiences of my trips.
Some good conversations and a lot of humor :)
