ABOUT ME

Born and raised on a small island in the Puget Sound, I am happiest when i'm outside, going for a bike ride or a swim. I also love a good, strong cup of coffee, cooking with new spices, used book stores, and yoga. I'm involved in couch surfing not only as a way to see new places, but also because my most meaningful travel experiences are rooted more in my experiences meeting new people than in the monuments i've seen. I just spent the past year teaching English in Istanbul, Turkey, and am now travelling with my boyfriend before relocating to France in the Fall to continue teaching.
